Will I be able to speak to Kirstin before the photo shoot?
We will begin your experience with a pre-session phone consultation approximately 1 to 2 weeks prior to your shoot. The purpose of this will be to solidify a location discuss clothing options and style of photography you would like to capture. It is extremely important for you to have an idea of they type of photos you want so Kirstin can prepare for your shoot.
What clothing should I wear?
When planning your session, clothing should be a top priority. You clothing choices will be big in determining the final outcome and feel of your portraits. Clothing should be of neutral colors and have a timeless feel. Please avoid any large logos and loud bright patterns and they do not tend to photograph well and draw attention away from the subject (you and your family). A simple white onesie, dipper or less will result in the best pictures of young babies. If more than one person will be in the session, clothing tones and styles should match to be sure the attention is not drawn to the clothing and not the subjects. The main focus of the portraits should be the person being photographed and not the clothing they are wearing. Kirstin will be able to guide you on what to choose on the pre-shoot consultation and if you are still unsure she will help you at the photo shoot if you have options available.

Where do you schedule the sessions?
The location is entirely up to you. Kirstin is able to photograph in your home (as large or small as it is) as well as in your favorite park or outdoor location. If you are unsure about where you want to shoot your photographs Kirstin can help you decide during your pre-consultation.
When is the best time to photograph outside?
If you want outside photographs we will schedule sessions in the morning between 8am 11am and in the late afternoon (after 3pm, depending on when the sun is setting).
When should I schedule my belly to baby session?
We recommend you schedule your belly session between 32 & 36 weeks. Newborn sessions should be tentatively scheduled before your baby is born, and we will adjust timing according to the actual birth date. Newborn photographs are best when they are younger than 10 days, preferably around day 6 or 7.
What are your hours?
Sessions are held on evenings and weekends to be most convenient for our clients. Please send us an email to inquire about times available.
When can I see my images?
Your images will be available in a custom gallery approximately two to three weeks before after your photo shoot. A few selects will be available on her blog within a week of the photo shoot. Your private online gallery will be available for 14 days after it is posted. Your order should be submitted before the gallery expires. There will be a $25 fee per week to republish the gallery after the expiration date.
Can I purchase the full resolution images of the session?
Yes, we offer several digital options as we know that is what is most preferable to clients. Please see our pricing and let us know if you have additional questions.
If I dont order all of my images initially, will they be available to order at a later day?
Yes, I will keep all images on file for 12 months after the shoot. After 12 months I will delete all images.
Do you photograph Weddings?
Sorry, we do not offer wedding packages however we would love to photograph your engagement shots. We have lots of fun ideas for a paparazzi style engagement photo shoot. Please inquire for pricing.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes we do and we'd love for you to use it! For every referral that completes a session, you will receive 20% off a future session (not including image packages) for you or your family.
What if I'm not happy with my images?
We do not want any clients to be unhappy, so we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If there is not one single image from your session that you absolutely love we will offer you a follow up session or return your session fee, no questions
